How Many Inches Is Your Telly?

Television rules!!!! All household has this idiot box one way or the other. Most of the people are addicted to the telly. Currently, the size of our T.V. is 21 inches Sanyo. Nowadays, a lot of LCDs and plasmas. I've yet to buy one. What about you? What's the size of your tube?

Oh, Telly!! At first I thought you said belly. We don't use the word "telly" in North America, (I'm in Canada) so it took me a minute to figure this one. We just say TV. Oh well, that's OK. I guess you're learning extremely BRITISH English. Interesting how certain words can suggest certain parts of the world, even if it is the same language.
Anyway, to answer your question, by TV is 14 inches. It's just a little old one that I got about 15 years ago.
