How to make money blogging

I know there are many discussions on this topic, but I cannot seem to make money with any of those options. I cannot and do not want to use Google Adsense, Pay Per Post has rejected my blog and I have resubmitted it for approval, and the rest I just don't understand.
What are some simple ways to make money online using blogs? I have looking specifically for pay per post sites and sites that pay me to advertise on my blog. I am using Scribefire, but have only earned a measly eight cents. Any suggestions? My blog is in my profile, so please check it out! Any feedback would be great.

The only way you can make money with a blog is if you have traffic going to your blog. If you do'nt have traffic, you will never make money with any of the programs on your site.
Also, you need to have a high PR on your blog to get accepted by a company that pays per post. So first work on traffic and building your PR, then you will be accepted to the pay per post programs.

Darksorrow, I'm happy you found it useful. I always throw in my blog link on there to check out its health... a neat little site a fellow mylotter gave me about a year ago. I am a little concerned though. I didn't receive notification that you entered your info. I'm worried that it's not working properly. Did you receive your welcome email?
