Head Ache

I've been suffering from Head Ache for the past 25 years, some times I get pain on one side of the temple or both the sides of the temple. Whenever I get pain I take a 500 mg paracetamol pill(crocin) manufactured by Glaxo Smithkline. Most of the times the pain goes. Sometimes despite the pill the pain lingers and increases, now I get nausea and I through up what ever I'd eaten a while back and then the pain goes down. Why after I vomit the pain comes down?, Is there any home remedy or a lasting remedy, Some times I get this pain twice a month or even thrice a month. I've also noticed this pain is severe when the season changes. Any one facing a similar problem please share your experiences, Docs are welcome to give their opinion.

Headache could be a symptoms of different illness. But as you say you have this pain at you temple, it could possibly be tension headache or pressure headache. Are you stress? Are you handling so many problems by now that could lead to stress and tension headache? Or you could also have problems with your vision. But What I'm telling you is just a possibility, It would still best to consult your doctor soon to treat your headache accurately. By the way paracetamol is safer than any other pain reliever.

Yes you are right, I had my eye sight checked and I'm wearing glasses for that. As far as stress goes I'm a Sales guy so there is always pressure and on personal front we live in joint family got to handle my Mom and my wife everyday. But I've got used to these things and these don't seem to burden me. Is there any massage that can relieve pain?

have you made a list of foods that you eat to rule out food allergies? i wake up with a headache quite a bit or i will get one just shortly after lunch but mine is because i dont sleep well and wake up tired. since i am not working outside of the house (due to severe arthritis in my knees) i will lay down in the afternoon (i cant sleep in because i have kids to get ready for school.)

Since you are taking med, has a doctor told you the reason for your headaches? Did they mention if it were allergies, stress, chemical or enviormental, etc? There are several all-natural ways to help relieve the pain, but it does help to know what is causing your headaches. Cayenne pepper is a great herb to help prevent and relieve both cluster and migraine headaches and ginger can help to slow down the progression of headaches when taken at the first sign of the headache symptoms. Your diet may have a lot to do with some of your headaches and some doctors would suggest the elimination of foods and beverages containing caffeine and without knowing if/how you were diagnosed, it's really hard to suggest anything that may help. There are several ways other than the herbs I suggested. Accupressure, Relaxation therapies, diet, nutritional therapies are available, but it's important to understand the cause of your headaches to determine what the best methods of treating them are.

you have so severe pain then why not get checked with the doctor because if the pain was simple and it was rare then it was not a problem but you are suffering from severe pain so it is better you get checked once so that it will be easy to treat. all home remedies you have tried i think like resting, avoiding loud noise, taking pain killers and all but then too it is not working for you so i think it is better go to doctor. dont take your healtht so easily as it might cause you more problems and take care of urself.

I would like to say that headaches are caused due to two reasons dear,i mean,,,,, 1.through negetive force dear, like someone would be doing black magic or there is some strong negetive force. 2.its due to stress and also due to family problems occuring.

It sounds to me like you are suffering from migraine headaches. I have the same problem. I get such severe migraines. They put me on prescription pain medication. Sometimes it works, other times it does not. If it does not work, I end up at the doctor getting a migraine shot to get rid of it. They are talking about putting me on a medication that is specifically for migraines. I have tried a few in the past without any improvement. They have a newer one that they want me to try out. I would talk to your doctor about other options if your current treatment is not working.
