and I'll be on my way to see the bf again....I'm SO excited but disappointed as well since I can only go for a few days this time since my kids are now back in school...Luckily thouhg, he has 4 days off work so we'll get to spend all that time together.....Unfortunatley, after this trip I'm not sure when I'll get to see him again....and I really dont know how we're going to deal with Xmas holidays either...
so to make this a discussion....for those of you in long distance relationships, how do you make the most of the visits you get, how often do you visit and how do you cope with the time apart?

My husband just retired, and he is going to move to Canada. It's so cute how excited he is. Last year he was still working, so we celebrated Christmas in AZ. This year we are going to be able to celebrate with my family, and that will be nice. his is scattered, so there really isn't a way for everyone to get together on his side, but mine is mostly in one place, so it'll be easy for us.
As for the rest of the time, we communicate via phone and e-mail numerous times a day.

Thats great he's moving to Canada and you guys will be able to be togetehr....being apart is so trying sometimes....The bf and I can't email since he doesnt ahve a computer but we talk on the phone 3 times a day which helps and sometimes write letters, send cards etc etc..even so though, being away from each other is hard...and crappy on so many levels

Hi Raven, I find it difficult at times,..especially as mine is now moving to France but will be back here every 2wks..yet I know he is there we talk or SMS in between times and we do love each other to bits..love conquers all do you agree...at the moment he's not well and haven't seen him in a month now that's been hard as not many people understand my situation in my relationship so really there's not anyone to talk to about it and I deal with it in my own way...how can you explain to someone how much your partner and you mean to each other when thry don't think it is true? You of all people must know this feeling..at the moment I am not sure when I will see my partner, but hopefully it will be soon...hugs littleowl

Emm, I think just enjoy your stay with your bf now, and think about anything else in the future. I understand what you feel about, but you cannot let the happiness go away if you keeping thinking of uncontrolable things...
