Seems that finding a job nowadays is getting harder and harder to find, so I am still trying to make some money on line, is anyone else finding that unemployment is real high right now or is it just me...Wonder if all this wallstreet crap going on alot of business's not doing any hiring for anything.

I am unemployed also, the truth of the matter is there are jobs, but there are so many people competing for the same jobs, and that makes it hard to get hired. Of course there are low paying jobs available, but most people need more money in order to make ends meet each month. For example my rent is $955.00 per month, so accepting a job that pays ten dollars an hour will do me very little good, because after all of the deductions, my net would probably just cover my rent, not to mention utilities and food, and other bills. These are hard times, and finding a job is a job in itself. I look every day, send out resume after resume, I have not even received one call for an interview, and I have been doing this for four months.

I'm unemployed right now. The first time in 18 years! I worked for my husband who has laid off his entire hourly crew and me. Sales are down by 70% since January. As it is right now there are just two or three jobs scheduled for the rest of the year. We are praying for work! Last August there were over 1000 permits issued in our county and this August there were 32. Wall street is the vessel, GREED is problem. Corruption and friends in government places allow the GREED to progress!

I'm employed right now...but I know for a fact that its hard to get a job. There's lots of competition out there. And that's what makes finding a job hard

Unemployement is a bit higher right now, although places around me are higher. They aren't the best jobs, but they're better than nothing. Starbucks, Applebees, Ricky's, places like that.
