Are you a nursing student? I am. what's the most difficult thing for you??? Try sharing.. For me? the harddest thing being a nursing student is that dealing with not-so-good attitude patients. Someday i'll get used to it. but for now i'm in the stage of adaptation. adapting to those things. Just have patience and control yourself . Myself! And also.. When you're in pedia. you're enemies are the parents! Children are cute but some parents are hard to deal with. But i understand them. They just want the best for their child. And remember. Have PATIENCE!! that's what i'm trying to do! hehe. gudluck future nurses....

hello there! i'm a nursing student no more.i just graduated and passed the b0ards last year.i guess the hardest part for me when i was still a student nurse was getting the history and assessment of the patient.it's painstakingly long and quite a hassle.lolz! as for the attitude of patients,i think i have come to manage that well coz i'm a people-person.having encountered all of that and now, have finished it all, makes me so much happy.lolz! no more deadlines, pressures and stress. have more patience dear nurse! happy mylotting!

I am a registered nurse, I took the board exam last December 2007. I had some memorable and not-so-good experiences during college. We had a series of long exams and quizzes everyday, and we cannot go on duty if our NCPs and FHPs are not prepared, and these papers should not be type-written, but hand-written. And who could forget the long-hours of staying in Dunkin Donuts to study, and we need to read at least 10 chapters of the Med-Surg book while sipping 3 cups of coffee or a cup of Extra Joss? I had a lot of hospital duty boo-boos. One time I forgot to shake the thermometer to reset the temperature, so after placing the glass bulb on the patient's underam, I immediately told the patient that she has a fever.. haha! But then my clinical instructor asked me if I did shake the temp., and then it hit me.. error.. so embarrassing! There are also patients who are professionals, and they're very challenging because they are even more knowledgable than I do. What should I do but to be prepared.. for my fate.. haha! There are still some embarrassing moments, and I could forever cherish those memories.Be patient, and be prepared.. Go, nurses!
