scripted?!

Its fake well more then 90 percent of wrestling is fake even though a lot of moves they do still hurt a hell of a lot. Which is why they get injured and there injuries are worse then a lot of pro sports injuries. But for the most part espically the storylines its fake even though sometimes theyll add something that really happend to a wrestler like making fun of jeff hardys house burning down.

As a fan of pro wrestling I hate the word scripted. To me it makes it sound faker then it is. I rather use predetermined. Winers are picked out a head of time and what not. Now not all but some of the wrestlers do have there promos scripted for them, a lot of the bigger named guys usaly do there owen stuff or if the guy is a good talker thay do there owen promos but the lower guys or guys that arn't good on the mic do use a script. Now if you want to see wrestling thats better, thats just my opinion, check out the stuff from Mexico and Japan

Yes the wwe is scripted pretty much everything in the wwe is scripted even though there are wrestlers when they cut there promos its not scripted such as chris jericho since I read somewhere he makes up his own promos and no one helps him with his promos.

Yup, WWE is really scripted.. SOme punches and grabbing are real, the blood are real, but the winners of each event are scripted for sure.. If all the fights are for real, how are they able to survive weekly wrestling, and one week is never enough for them to fully recover ^_^ ON top of that, they will have to attend trainings, workouts in the gym to preserve their body mass, so if there's a real fight, how are they gonna do so many things with so little time to rest.. haha

First of all, one should understand WWE (World Wrestling Fedration/Entertainment) INC.. is not in "Wrestling" business. They are in an "Entertainment show" business. I came across a lot of peoples like you , who first believe that WWE is wrestling game.. Actually you are wrong! . You have misunderstood all these days. Never, ever, World Wrestling federation/Entertainment claimed that they are in the "real wrestling" business. You peoples assumed yourself that they are in the real wrestling business and finally realized that actually they are not. They are in "wrestling show" business. The job description of the performers in the WWE company is to put smile on peoples face. The events of WWE company is involved by different wrestlers, by pre-existing scripted feuds, plots and story lines. Performers in WWE company will portray a villain or a fan favorite as they follow a series of event that build tension, and culminate into a wrestling show or series of shows. WWE shows are planned with pre-dertermined outcome of the WWE creative staff and will feature performers playing character role for the entertainment of the audience. Again, WWE inc; never said that they are in a "real wrestling" business, they are an entertainment show.. Also real wrestling matches can be seen in events like olympic games.. Hope that helps....

it is scripted as far as determing the winner i think. it is just for our entertainment.

i think so kleynie...the show is too dramatic to be real...and those lines delivered by the wrestlers...yuck! so cheeky...not something that you would expect from those hard core muscle men... i don't like wrestling. i think they are cheating the people. i would rather watch boxing. that is where the real action is. well to each his own, i guess. hehe take care and God bless you!
