Black is more professional. I'd rather have a black one. For some people they'd rather have their favorite color. My most davorite color is lavender, but I don't want a laptop in this color. I like most other colors as well and it depends on what the color is being used for or on. For a computer, black.

My friend, the color of a laptop will not add to or detract from its quality. No matter what the color, what is important is the quality of the equipment. So it's the brand that matters. Also, choice of colors really depends on the individual and is just a way of expression so don't judge a laptop by its color but by its brand and quality

Although I have a pink mobile phone, my laptop is a classy shiny black. I did look at the pink laptops but they cost around $100 more for the colour and I realized how silly it would be to pay more for the pink and I do believe black is certainly more professional. Hard to be taken seriously in business with a candy pink laptop! I do like them though.

I think black is smart and very professional looking. I would think the other colors would be more for fun and a conversation piece. Your idea of settling for black is a good one.

Yes, a black laptop is most suitable for formal people, places and events. But well, I'm planning to purchase a green laptop, hehehe! I'm not kidding, I found a lime green at ebay and I'm gonna purchase it! Green is absolutely my most favorite color and I just love to have that green laptop!

Black or will be the prefect color for a laptop.. At least they look more formal and also more solid looking.. haha ^_^ I have not seen any pink laptops, but i have seen fanciful covers for laptop, whereby it's just a layer of plastic pretoecting the laptop from scratches, and those designs actually looks nice.. lol

I would take a colored laptop, I think having just black is boring. I wouldn't want a pink one, but I have seen some blue ones and even purple, I would pick one of those colors.

I have a black Dell, which I thought was pretty cool looking when I bought it, but it shows every fingerprint that lands on it. It's not like I have greasy hands or anything...or use a lot of lotion...so constantly having to wipe this thing down to get the prints off is a pain.

I think there are 2 color shades which looks smart and elegant for laptops - they are black and steel grey. I agree that black colour gives a very professional and authoritative look. I personally have a silver (steel grey) laptop which also looks smart and not kiddish, colourful or funky..... However recently i saw the DELL laptops of multicolor which I think is for youth generation and in case for professional purpose or meetings - black or silver or mate shades is preferable.... Happy myLotting!!!!!

I think black is the common color for most laptops but mine's white. I also don't like those candy colored laptops but there times I find them cute but I wouldn't want to own one. I personally prefer either black or white and I'm totally cool with my white Macbook.

I don't have a laptop, but my daughter just bought a white one. It's really nice, and has a white leather case with lots of pockets for all her other bits and pieces. Handy for taking on planes, etc. I guess the coloured ones do look casual - but unless you're a businessman and want to look a bit 'serious', I think the coloured ones are quite funky and fun - especially for young people.

pink one maybe likes a toy if an adult uses it. as a tool for work, black one is the best choice.

Hi there. The color of the laptop that I'm currently using is black. This was issued to me by the firm I work for and I guess that the color black does give off the impression of professionalism. However, if I'd be getting myself my own personal laptop, I think I'd choose a simple white one. I think pink or green or whatever else color is too flashy for my tastes. So a simple black or white one will do. Of course, the physical appearance would only be a secondary consideration as to what laptop I would by. Actually, it doesn't really matter as long as the laptop performs well.
