Hi Zhenghong!! Well, i believe there is nothing that would make you live forever. But offcourse there are things that will definitely make you live healthier & longer. there is something called as body requirements. Our body requires Macro nutrients & micro nutrients. Macro Nutrients - Proteins / Carbohydrates / Fats These form the main ingredients of our daily diets. Here although all 3 are important for healthy Living. Proteins have a much higher weightage above Carbs & Fats being the least. Proteins are said to be the building blocks of our body, so essential for growth & proper functioning of Cells. Carbohydrates give u instant energy, hence required. Fats give energy that can be stored & used later. This is the least required & not required to be accumulated in large amounts as this is the toughest to burn out later, in case of excess. Micro Nutrients - Minerals & Vitamins. These are required in traces in our body & are much more essential for proper functioning of out internal & external organs. Due to deficiencies of these we might catch diseases which may be a problem in older age. To keep everything in order, its essential to have the required amounts of vitamins & minerals. these are available in fruits & vegetables mainly. that should be too much for all to digest. We can go to a proper dietician to get a meal plan worked out for individual needs. Following which we can ensure a better/healthy & longer living. Healthy Living Guys !!

I had been a vegetarian for 15 years, but I am not convinced that it will add life, specially if its not really balanced diet. Specially in places where only vegetables grow there's no fruits that we can eat everyday as well, so vegetables without fruits and water is not a balanced diet either. Being a vegetarian doesn't guarantee to have a long life. But sure it helps to have a healthy living, but still we are not exempted from diseases especially when its from generation passes to generations.

I think freshly squeezed juices are the best thing people can consume, they are like an energizer, they make you feel so good, I have carrot, beetroot, ginger and celery in mine but there are many different combinations you can make up...

When traveling in developing countries I must be careful not to drink the local water, eat salad or fruit unless I have pealed it. In Sumatra I drank bottles water, ate passion fruit and stayed safe there until my last day. Other traveler had got ill there but I hadn't, until that point. Then after stupidly eating a tempting looking salad I was sick with a high fever for one week. I was so terribly ill so I won't make that mistake again. I love to eat fruit and vegetables and so I was silly when tempted with my favorite meal. I take multi vitamin pills with me when I travel. I must make sure in particular I have enough Vitamin B12 and Iron in my diet. I eat a vegan diet and so take snacks with me like rice cakes, nuts, dried fruit and fruit jam. I always take a camping style cup, plate, knife, fork and spoon then it is easy to do self catering. I keep really healthy but I am unlikely to live forever! Good luck.

Hi Zhenghong, I think Vegetables, fruit and water benefit we people the most. Of course some nuts are also very very helpful if you are a vegeterian.I think as long as you eat properly and healthy, it is not very hard for you to achieve longiverty. Emm, eat more vegetables than meet, eat 8 bottles of water per day. THis makes you healthy!
