I am getting so worried and concerned about the safety situation around the world, if it is not someone planting a bomb today .it is some pirates hijacking some ship in the waters of Somali, also we have heard of various natural disasters which have destroyed so many lives and properties, recently kidnapping has become the order of the day, saw on TV that the German government is negotiating for the release of the European tourists who were kidnapped in Egypt. Now is there something that can be done to stop this madness? I just hope that these kidnappers will be arrested and dealt with accordingly.

Hi BYOLA, One reasons I hate to watch news also in our Country is that about 90% of the news are all sad like rape, killing, ambush etc and it's everyday since I was teen or even younger! I do know, maybe this is one that we can consider constant in this world! People tried to do bad things to survive, to earn money and to satisfy their selfish desires! So sad!

Here in my country, kidnapping is like cliche already. But every time we hear news about it, we still abhor it especially if women and children or missionaries are the victims. These kidnappers when they go on a press conference, tell us that they did that because the government doesn't listen to them, when what they're really after is the ransom. They say things about religion and fairness and peace but what they're doing is totally against any religion I've ever studied.

its so bad that people do things to meet their selfish needs only to find a way to justify it especially with religion, its funny but not one of these things will go unpunished
