Yes, it is true. We need a break from political discussions! So, here it is. True and straight from the internet. The absolutely certifiably true story of the life form adapted to surviving by eating humans. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/weird/article1784470.ece I say I won't be going swimming in that river anytime soon. What do you say?

Oh man..... That's just freaky! I am someone that has not been swining for a very long time and absolutely love it. So now you share this? lol. And it says in the article that they will just keep on growing bigger the more they are fed?? How do they even address something liek this because the locals certainly won't stop throwing cremated body parts in there? And given that body parts ARE in this river already why are people even in the water in the first place??

lol. I meant swimming and not swining! I have no idea what swining even is other than it's probably pig related!

Good point about not swimming in this river anyway. Human remains carry and spread all kinds of disease. This is the reason for immediate burial or cremation when bodies are not preserved by morticians.

It sounds like a good vacation spot for liberals. That is a really nice catfish.

I noticed it was a type of catfish, too. Which has me worried. There are catfish a lot bigger than this in the south. Don't swim in the Mississippi River?

That was an absolutely gross article! We know that certain forms of marine life bite and eat some human flesh but somehow making a meal of roasted corpses just turned my stomach. It also was a butt ugly looking creature so I think I will stick to politics.

Okay, for the next non political post, I'll try not to go for gross or monsters, but I have to warn you: DO NOT READ THE ARTICLE ABOUT MULTI CULTURALISM!

I say chlorine and all a swimming pool is looking quite good from where I stand right now LOL At least if I am ever to travel to that area. I have seen how piranhas work when I was in Brazil, and they are small little things.... now something that size..... Yep.... no water for me please LOL THe conclusion made in the article seems to make some sense. If an animal is fed mostly one thing, in time it will most certainly adapt to it.

Actually, even worse, as one of the other responders mentioned, would be the large alligators in American swamps in the south.

True enough. Let's leave the southern swamps to the gators, skeeters, water moccassins, exotic escaped breeding pythons (not kidding!), and other assorted nasties.

Oh yuck!! That was a refreshing change from politics. We don't go into the rivers down here anyway because of the gators but I'd hate to run into that guy's little (or big) brother either.

Just watch out for the crocagotors.
