What makes you weird?

When asked if they are normal, about half of people who I have asked have answered, "No, I am not normal." There really is no such thing as a normal person, is there? Unless you can prove me wrong by telling me that you're entirely normal, of course. What are your quirks?

I have a place for everything and want everything in it's place at all times when it's not being used. Nothing is to be out of place. And cabinet doors or doors are to be shut! Not left open when you are done getting something out of them. I guess they are more pet peeves than quirks. But they are still my quirks, too. Things have a place and need to be in such place. In order and looking nice.

I'm completely the opposite! I like having a big clot of clothes in the middle of my room, and if I lost something, I can look in the pile and I will find it instantly! Otherwise I will have to look in drawers and shelves for it.

No I am not normal and no there is no such thing as a 'normal' person. I am perhaps a little more weird than some people: I don't watch TV I don't want to be rich I don't want an easy life I don't drive or own a car I don't have a regular job I don't own many possessions I don't ask for help or advice I don't wear or follow fashion I don't listen to popular music I don't need to have other people around me I don't want to be the same as other people I don't want to do or have the same things as other people I don't care what anyone thinks of me or about how I life my life

I think you really do need other people. I am glad to hear you don't need anything like possessions, you can live without those. But I know you need to have feedback and you need support from other people more than you think, it's part of survival.

I'm normal in that I'm unique--just like everyone else! My ideas don't often agree with everyone else's because I'm very old fashioned. At the same time, I consider modern points of view but they mostly clash with my own. That's where I'm not normal.

Hi, Sheepie. I love turkey wings and turkey necks. My husband does not like eating this. He thinks that it is disgusting and a waste of his stomach. I told him that he just does not know what he is missing.

Hi Sheepie, I can't think of any quirks I have but I must have, so if I can't think of it I must be normal and because I always tell my husband the he is not normal hehehe. Tamara

Well, you're very sweet to me, most of the "normal" people in my town are not!

Well, I have heard of pretzels and ice cream or chocolate, which is mixing sweet with salty. But I don't know if the potato flavor would make it any different. I will try that sometime!

I'm definitely not 'normal'. For a start, I don't care how people see me, and will often go to town wearing bizarre things and not checking to see whether there's anything on my face, etc. I do often get weird looks - no idea why, but it doesn't worry me. I really don't think there's any such thing as a normal person - we all have our little quirks - and the world's a better place for it!
