Is that kind of friendship possible? When both parties doesn't consider each one at the same level of friendship? There are two levels of friendship - best friend and friend. In my own point of view, the latter is someone one may have known not long enough but still can sometimes hang out with and chat. While the former is someone whom a person have known for years. The bond is much deeper. Both parties are more closer to each other wherein both are at ease telling secrets to each other. In friends, you can also tell secrets but not everything. There are still limitations on what to tell and not to. Best friends have built a trust for each other and have gone through so many hardships, helping each other while as friends, they do help each other but the trust is not that strong enough and still lacks the bond that best friends have. But what if someone considers you just a friend when to you he/she is a bestfriend - what would you feel? Have you experienced this kind of friendship? When do you consider someone your friend or bestfriend? Is it ok to you if you're just a friend?

I think the proper mindset for that is not for you to be considered as the best friend but the other way around. We have to consider that we do not own other prople's minds. We do not control their feelings. But in the process, as we concentrate on how we value true friendship, it will automatically blossom into a solid friendship. The other person will then treat you as a "bestfriend" when that happens.

Hi! I appreciate your response and I guess you're right. We should never consider ourselves bestfriend but instead let the other person decide and feel that we are a bestfriend. We don't control him/her and to consider ourselves as such shouldn't be a a forceful act cause it wouldn't be a good a friendship. Keep posting!
