When did you started using Internet ?

For me, I remember starting to use the internet when I was in my late primary school days. I recall that when I started using the internet, my main fascination about it was that I was able to download stuff from the internet - it just amazes me that I could get a file onto my computer without actually needing to insert anything into the computer eg. CD, floppy disk etc. As I was quite young back then when I started using the internet, I downloaded a lot of games from the internet as well as music files. Now that I've been using the internet for quite a long time now, I find that the internet has evolved over the period of time and has more functions now. Now, I use the internet to do so many things: checking emails, chatting, downloading music and movies, do my online banking, read the news online and search for information, keep in contact with others socially, and the list goes on and on. Indeed, internet is a really innovative and wonderful tool; I really don't know what I would be if there came a time when internet just disappeared from this earth. I typically spend an average of about 3-4 hours per day on the internet, and sometimes I can even go more than that, especially during times when I have more time on my hands, for example during the holidays. The internet is something I really cherish as a huge part of my life, and I guess it will continue to play that important role in my life even till when I'm old.

Hi and Happy dusshera to you to! Well, I started using Internet when I was 13. I know it seems earlier, but it was actually the right time for me, speciallly because when I see myself at this position right now, its seems really good to be what I am today. Ofcourse I did get deviated from the right things, but it helped me strengthen myself up to what I am now. I don't believe that there should be any age limit to internet, as people used to discuss. It just helps in maturing the kid as he gets exposed to the real world. Of course a parent must keep a watch, but then, they shouldn't even interfere with the child's activity in any ways. Just keep them away from potential dangers of hackers and phishers. Going astray ethically, anyways, helped me... I don't know how, but now i believe I am better than anyone around.... Its surely GOD's Grace... you would know it better if you would have known me in RL Anyways, chatting and surfing wasn't the first thing I did. I joined Internet system to create an email id when I was 12 (yeah, I did :P ) and then I started chatting over internet at the age of 13. I used to be more on Pokemon sites at the age of 13 but well, now, I am lost in the web world! :D

Hello chinna, i started using when i am at an age of 14. At first i just used internet for mailing, nothing morethan that. Now internet became a part of my life. I spend a lot of time searching, mailing, chatting, news and more. In my opinion internet is the best tool to learn any thing under sky.

I probably first started using the internet in second grade, or whenever Neopets first came out. That was all I did, play games and such. Then I started going on forums and eventually, years later, I found this place.

If I remembered it correctly, I think the first time I use internet was when I'm 14 years old in my high school days. And since then, it became part of my life, kinda dependent on it. It was quite important to me since for me it was both for work and leisure. Almost for a whole day, I've been using it mainly for doing my works, for entertainment and for communicating my friends and family.
