Do you remember the Newlywed Game?

Do you remember the game show called the Newlywed Game? Where they had 3 different couples, and asked questions about the other person, and the winner of the game got a vacation somewhere nice?
When I was a kid I used to watch that show and daydream about going on it when I got married. I told myself my future husband would know everything about me, and I'd know everything about him, so we'd win forsure.
Well now that I am married, I don't think my husband knows me well enough for us to go on that show. He knows the basics and I have in the past told him everything he needs to know... but if he were asked a silly question like what type of jewelry I'd prefer, I don't think he'd remember. He doesn't pay attention to detail like that.
How do you think you and your spouse would do if you were on that game show?

Oh, yes. I do remember the newleywed game, I always loved watching that show, wish that they would have that back on the air. It was very funny how they would get upset because the spouse could not remember the answer to some of those questions.

Well, I think he'd know more about me then I'd know about him. That's kind of sad now that I think about it. I like telling him stupid little things about myself and I sometimes quiz him on all my favorite things. He usually knows all the answers but I don't think I'd remember all of the same things about him. I hope I'd remember them but I'm not sure. I'll have to quiz him on all his favorites tonight.

I remember that show! I loved watching it! My friends and I even played it one time in highschool with our boyfriends. I watched the show and picked out questions that would work for dating couples. Then my friend and I went to the store and made up a gift basket of prizes. There was me and my boyfriend and then my friend and the guy she had a crush on(funny thing..i married him lol) and then my other friend and her boyfriend. My boyfriend and I ended up winning. i don't know how well my husband would do. He doesn't pay attention to much stuff like that.

I would rock on that show!! I know the hubby better than he knows hisself. Now, him on the other hand would get up nowhere fast. He's like your husband..he knows enough to get by, but anything more than my birthday and eye color and he's a goner LOL. He's not into all the..what's my fav color or song, or things like that. I used to love that game. I was actually a kid when it was on, so I didn't get half of what they were laughing about on there, now as an adult when I watch the reruns I'm like...oooooohhhhh ok, I get it now LOL. Thanks for the flashback :)

I remember the show very well. I do not think my husband would remember much about me either. He is not the best listener. I think I would be better at answering questions about him though. He wouldn't remember things like shoe or dress size I am sure.
