What type of cheese do you like on your pizza?

I like the usual Mozzerella. You sound very adventurous with Monterrey Jack and jalapenos on your mind! I also like cheddar cheese on my pizza, although most pizzas don't use cheddar as an ingredient. Of course I like to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of my pizza sometimes, even though Parmesan cheese really does stink.

Normally I have Mozzarella, but sometimes I have pizza with a 4 or 5 cheese blend on it. Parmesan, Mozzarella, Fontina, Romano, Cheddar. Once in awhile I will have a St. Louis style pizza and that has PROVEL cheese on it. PROVEL is a blend of several cheeses and I think it is only available in the St. Louis area.

I usually make pizza at home, and I add whatever cheese I have in the fridge. My son's favorite cheese is colby jack, so I usually put that on his pizza. Other than that, we only buy 2% cheese, and we don't have many options where we shop, so it's usually cheddar, or a Mexican cheese blend.

I used to make homemade pizza, but have to admit have gotten lazy and will now get the frozen kind, but even when I do, those pizzas never seem to have enough cheese for me...LOL. So I often add MORE cheese...I've added all kinds of different cheeses on pizza not just mozzarella, but yes Monterrey Jack, swiss, gouda...whatever...heehee

My fav is feta - as long as it's not goat cheese!
