Cut assets in half: Literally

To avoid dealing with a complicated, expensive, messy divorce a Cambodian couple literally cut their house in half. They cut their land into four quarters, a piece for him, a piece for her, and two pieces for their children.

The reason for this literal split was the Husband's claim that the wife did not care for him when he was ill.

This sounds like a good deal. Maybe there would be lesser problems in the world if things were settled like this. No one gets the better of the other. It seems fair. Cheers!!

Trust is a funny thing, it can take a few things for people to lose trust in someone and most times once it is lost it is never really found fully again, there is always doubts, the reason could be some little thing that you have done int the past for that trust to be lost or it can be lost from something someone else has said...it is a very delicate things and a great loss when you lose it...

There is probably more to this BBC story than the stated. This couple were married 40 years. You are right about trust being delicate...especially amongst couples.
