How's this business idea?

I have another business idea and I want your comments or advises. Our house is located about 100 meters from the town's plaza but on an inner street not along the town's main thoroughfare. The plaza was actually renovated into a park-like environment and people from the villages and even from neighboring towns come even just to take a walk. There are arrozcaldohan and gotohan (congees) that really are making good business within the vicinity. I want to take advantage also of the situation to come up with a business within my place but my location is not that good. The main problem is how would I get people into my place and patronize my product, say an arrozcaldohan also (my wife can cook great arrozcaldo also!) or maybe other food products. The idea that came into my mind is to offer people to watch free movie, a bowl of arrozcaldo and softdrink with P50.00 (suggested price only) entrance fee, and flyers will be distributed to the people at the park. I'll buy a DLP or LCD projector, connect my computer and play some DVD movies. How is that?

I have heard of this "movie houses" in the provinces but be careful because they raid these houses because of pirated dvds. If you add gambling, there is also a problem with cops because they will make a milking cow out of you. If your wife's arroz caldo is really great, they will come to your place.

I didn't know about other moviehouses. I don't intend to use pirated movies nor incorporate gambling. I will only use the movie to attract costumers.

Starting abusiness sometime is not easy, but what you should have in mind is that you do not need customers first for you to start a business, customers will only come after you've opened your business and what follows next is how to promote your business, so think of how your are going to promote your business efectively as you have sugested of using DVD to pley movies, this is good a idea
