When do you lose romance in a marriage?

I have been married for a little over 1 1/2 years. I guess we would still be considered newly weds because although we have been together for well over 6 years I am very much deeply in love with him. Is it possible to lose romance in your marriage? If so, how soon?

I don't want to say you lose the romance when you have kids. But I will say it is a lot harder to come by the romance. You really need to work on that daily.

Think you can always keep some romance in your marriage. With time you become closer.

But do you still do the little goofy things you did when you first met or do you become just comfortable with each other?

only you can determine that....don't let it happen. once kids come it is harder. My hubby and are are very regular still in the bedroom it is just hard to find time to go out on a date. so just make time. i have been married for 5 years.

It's so funny that you mentioned children...we have two (2)! We don't go on dates as often as we used to either. We do small things now, like sending the kids away for a weekend & act as if we just met each other....you know...silly stuff! :-D
