i don't. unless it involves other people. if its only, me, my husband, and the kids,we don't plan it. we just go wherever the road will lead us. i noticed that the more you plan for something like outings, the more that it will not push through. have you experienced that too?

Well, kinda opposite for me. If i go with others, most of the time, they will plan well for the trip as i've little travelling experience. But if it's only me myself, i have no choice, i have to make careful plans for my trip. I like making plans for the trip, in this case i'm fully prepared and i feel content when arriving and seeing everything's arranged as i have imagined.
I will travel this afternoon for Mount Huang (China), my colleage plans for it. And i feel a little upset, as i don't get the full picture of our schedule. However, i do consider it's a good trip~

had the same experience too. when our friends planned for a summer outing way back 2005, i was really frustrated. i pictured a white sand beach with a comfortable cottage so we can rest, but when we get there, what i saw was a complete opposite of what imagined. so, i guess that's individual indifferences. that place for them will be beautiful but more me it's more of a crap.lol!
