will you give your email address to chat to anyone who asks or not?

Before, i sure will give if anyone ask for it... cause for me, i feel that just making a friend, is ok... if anything happen, i still can block them.... but now... i not dare to give... i wish to protect myself... i very scared already cause it really irritating... i have one online friend which i know him in a online forum which i trusted... i feel the forum is safe so i give my ID to chat with him... but at last, he said he love me and he do a lots of scaring things to me.... is really scary and irritating.... i have block him for every single way that he can look for me but still the problem is there... so, now i would give anyone my personal ID and email to check... i scared.... Please protect yourself... it really scary....

A couple of people have my e-mail addresses so we can discuss things that we really don't want to share with the rest of the Lot. They're people I feel I know well, and we've only exchanged addresses for specific purposes.

some requested for my e-mail to chat with me online day before yesterday, i gave it the person but I told the person that I am so busy, that I can chat that he should send mail to me so that I can reply but till today he did not. Some people are trustworthy but some are scammers, just that one has to be careful.

I don't just give me e-mail address or ID to strangers asking for it. What for? I'm very careful with spammers or scammers so any personal information like that.. I don't give out.

I'll give my yahoo address. It's easy to remember and I don't care if I get spam in it.

I shall not :D Like to make friendhsip but shud ensure they are really genuine. Will just play safe. Will definitely not give if some1 asks for my mail ID right away :)
