do you watch Japanese anime, if you answered "YES" then you are an OTAKU! i myself is a Japanese anime fanatic, i try myself to be updated with the new and old about anime. since grade school, i've been watching cartoons, it started with transformers, GI Joe, Heman..then came the Japanese anime. the story line and overall impact of it was awesome. i remember that the very first Japanese animation that i've watch was Dragon Ball Z by Akira Toriyama which was first aired in Japan some 20 years ago. what makes Japanese animation so unique, cool and fun to watch compared to American anime? and if you take a close look at Japanese anime, what do you notice?....it's the eyes, why is it that Japanese anime have very large eyes...?

Ah, yeah another otaku. Japanese animation are good because of the story. But if you look at the animation side of things, well let's not talk about that. My friend who's studying animation told me about the secrets of most japanese anime and why american animation looks good but sucks when it comes to the story. It's just so relaxing watching anime. TO me it is the story that sets it apart from the american animation. With the art it's just refreshing to see cute animation rather that super detailed ones. That's what makes anime such a hit, even though some are repetitive, they kind of do stories that will tickle the interest of most people, even adults. I forgot about the eye. I think there's an explanation to that.

konnichiwa! hehehe.. another otaku right here! hehehe.. i think the biggest advantage of anime is their writing style. if you noticed, most of our fav anime series have very long stories. but have you ever wondered why every episode is so exciting to watch? have you noticed there is no dull moment in any anime (at least the famous ones)? thing is, they have this unique way of making us tremble in anticipation. they keep us thinking whats gonna happen next.. say for example, in dragon ball.. who the heck would have though vegeta and picollo would become good guys? or in detective conan, if you're a fan, you know that its almost always a murder case. but heck! we still enjoy each episode because every episode challenges the detectives inside everyone of us. how about in prince of tennis.. darn! who would have thought fuji couldn't defeat tezuka, but echizen can.. now i'm getting exited about the next bleach movie! hehehe..
