Geez. It is freezing in the 50s in the morning for the past week. By afternoon it's in the high 70s to 80s' here. No wonder my daughter went from allergies to a cold. Anyone else have a cold from the temp changes? Guess its just sweatshirt with shorts weather huh?

Wow, deja vu. I could have sworn I just answered a question like this one.

It has been the same way here. I am only about 100 miles from you though, so I do not really expect it to be much different. My son has been going to school in jeans and a t-shirt with a jacket because it is so chilly in the mornings, but he had it stuffed in his backpack by the time he gets home in the afternoon and he is complaining about how hot it is on the bus.

Yesterday was a day of some variety as I recall for me. Chilly in the morning but so warm in the afternoon that I didn't feel like taking my daughter out for a bike ride. I wound up taking her to the park, regardless, because she was so intent on showing me how she could climb on the monkey bars.

Well, here in the Seattle area, most of the time, it is only in the low 60s most of the time at highest, for a high, and sometimes as low as 38 or so in the morning so this is something we just learn to have to get used too. And then so many of us have had Colds and such more than a couple of times this yr. due to the weather changes here as well. So it is something that has been weird this yr. for sure, but I guess something we will have to learn to get used to as well.

Hi there ersmommy1!
There's really something wrong with the environment. The weather has become more unpredictable. For the past few months, I have noticed that it's rather cold early in the morning. That is why I wear clothes to keep me warm. Well, at around 10am, it becomes hot so I have to remove my blazer while I deliver my lecture. Then at around 5pm, it's cold again. It's supposed to be the rainy season here but I feel more like it is summer all year round.

This time of year seems to do that. The nights start to get cold, but a day without clouds gets hot fast as the sun heats everything up. I've been told this is also true of the desert, where it gets cold and night in stark contrast to how hot it can be in the day.
I hope you are doing well this morning.

I think this phenomenon is happenng everywhere in temperate and tropical countries. It's really weird. When I have a cold, I always blame it on the weather. There are more sick people now children and adults alike and those with flu always blame it on the weather.

It's 23.3°C its sunny with partial clouds. But its hot most of the times. Usually there is a breeze in the evening and gets colder at night. It's the time of the year when you get confused what to wear and its very easy to get a cold.
