i have had no sleep for two days because i have the flu, and reallly bad tooothache.
i have been to dentist and doc and dentist just gave me antibiotics to take for a week before the thooth has to come out, but the ibrofen and paracetomal together he suggested aint bloody working and im in agony.
to top that off my nose has been blocked day and night for the past two days.
im terrified im gonna have an asthma attack and not be able to take my inhaler properly cus i cant breathe out of my nose at all. both nostrils are blocked completely. i cant even sniff.
does anyone else get this? and how do u cure it
up until about 5 years ago only one nostril used to block and i could cope with tht lol, but this is really not nice.
any ideas and advice would be great thanks
heres a pic of me, i look a right state.

You could take some Musinex.
The other non-medicine thing you can try is a nettie pot. It is this tea pot looking thing that you put a saline solution and warm water into, and you pour it into your nose. It has been used for centuries and works wonder! I know you can get them at Walgreens.
When my husband had the flu, he had the flu + an ear infection. They gave him the flu medicine that you can take within the first 48 hours that knock it out quick, he was also prescribed antibiotics (for his ear), musinex for the congestion and extreme dose of Vitamin C and zinc (or airborne tablets).
