http://www.wonderquest.com/Top-10-Questions.htm There's a lot of questions on there, I just picked 10 I like. Anyone know the answers, or want to guess? 1). What’s the average speed of a tiger? What’s the average speed of a human? How fast do humans swim? 2.) Why are predators and, of course, scavengers unaffected by rotted meat? 3.) Which way should a fan rotate during which season (ceiling fan)? 4.) Is an octopus a reptile, mammal, or amphibian? Or is it just a fish? 5.) What is considered to be the average size woman in America? The average size man? 6.) If lightning strikes the ocean, do the marine animals get hurt or killed? 7.) Can you catch AIDS from a mosquito bite? 8.) If the chimp is the smartest animal, where does the dolphin stand in the rankings? What are the top 10 smartest animals? 9.) In the absence of clear life signs (respiration, circulation, etc.), how do botanists decide when a plant is no longer living? For example, is a freshly picked rose considered dead? 10.) What causes tickling? Why can't we tickle ourselves? Have fun! Any wierd questions out there you want to share?

What a great site. I'm going to email it to my 12 year old nephew. Here's my guesses at some of the questions. 1. Tiger 35 mph Humans 2 mph Swimming??? 2. Because they have an enzyme that breaks down the rotted meat. 3. I wish I could remeber. In the summer I think it is clockwise, and in the winter counter clockwise. 4. I don't think octopus are " just plain fish" . I'm going to guess amphibian 5. Women 5'5" Man 5'7" 6. No, the water absorbs the lightening?? 7. No, I really hope that is correct. 8. I think dolphins are in the top 5 9. I have no idea. 10. Not a clue. Now I need to go look up the answers. Thanks again for the great site and the questions. Jackie13
