What place will you prefer for a holiday - beach or a hill station?

I love the beach too, it's a bright and sunny place to be and lifts my mood all the time even if it rains on the beach. You can choose to be alone by yourself on the beach and sit in a quite place or spend time with your loved one and just walk along the beach or have fun in the water.

I would say the beach.....not because I love to swim but because, I love looking out at the calm water of the ocean....feeling the breeze on my face....I usually just sit on the shore under a big umbrella and read my book.....once in a while, i go for a dip and then go back to reading my book....

I prefer the beach. I love swimming. I love nature. And I love water. But most of all I love to have fun. When I think of beach, it is really fun and enjoyment. I'd like to go to Bantayan Island in Cebu. This is one of the tourist destinations in the Philippines and it is just hours away from our place. But because of it being a tourist spot, it costs much, but not that big though. I'd still love to go. Hills are dry and makes you sweat although it would be fun once in a while (mountain, not hill).

I prefer to go to a beach. Hearing the sound of the water hitting the shore line, watching the sunset, it relaxes me.

It difficult to select between the two.I enjoy the cool chilly wind of a hill station. And most important is that I am fond of hiking. I like beaches too.Swimming is entertaining.

It actually depends on what time of the year my vacation or holiday is schduled. If it is during the months of March to August, I would like to go to the beach! But if it is during the cold months where we have our ''Amihan'' season here in the Philippine, I would like to have my holiday on the uplands where I can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the wonders of nature with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee..

I can't agree with you more. I will definiely choose the beach if I go on a vacation. Hills are mountains are magnificent; however, sometimes I feel a little secluded. The beach is so very different. Nothing blocks my view facing the open sea, and nothing is unchangeable in the sea. Every tide and wave is different, and so is every sound of tide hitting shore and rocks. I can never get bored to sit at the beach and watch the sea all day along.
