What is the difference between white gold and normal gold?
I hear people talk about white gold and gold with reference to jewelry, is there really anything such as white gold and how is it made.

Other metals must be added to if it's to keep its shape, because pure gold is just too soft. That determines whether it's 24K, 22K, 18K, 14K, etc. If the alloys are different, different colors of gold are produced. It can turn out yellow or white or rose or green. It all depends upon which alloys are used to harden it.
