you couldnt do what you started to do? Have you ever started early to acomplish something and then a million things happen to come up, one right after the other one?So if you get it done, you end up running so late....but if you have a day that you dont have anything to do, nothing happens.....what causes this?

Having twins is wonderful and I wouldnt mind being interupted so much if it were the twins doing it. Its usaly telemarketers, or every relative calls the same day....that type of thing.... awwwwwwww twins, that is so cool!

I have no idea why this happens. Nobody wants me for anything until I'm busy doing something.. this includes the simple little things as well like reading , watching tv or even just using the bathroom. It is just unbelievable.. if you ever find out why it happens that way please let me know.

This happens to me almost on a daily basis, With 5-8 adults living in my home part to full time and 8 kids the same I am always being interrupted in what I am doing and have to stop and do other things before I get back to what I had been doing maybe an hour or two later and at times a day or two later. I get disrupted by phone calls to as my husband being a substitute teacher I have to take calls along with regular calls that come in and orders for my Watkins business and recently calls for my brother, his wife and a friend who moved in with us this past six weeks for awhile. What causes it are inconsideration of other people, impatient children or children needing rocked, cuddled, loved, kissed, comforted for hurts. But it is worth the time to see the tears dried and the smiles or the sweetness of a baby sleeping peacefully. Then if I don't get a phone call and no one else needs my attention. I can resume why projects. I also multi-task and so do several things at once. If I fold clothes and take them to a room I bring dirty dishes, or laundry back or some other project like make a bed, sweep a floor, mop. Always multi-tasking. If I hang clothes outside I might do some gardening or pull weeds then come inside if I find toys or dishes left out by kids or others. So though I do get distracted I eventually work my way back to my primary project.

Multi tasking really helps. Its great when you can do that. I would not get as much done if it wernt, for multitasking. It seems like I get more done some days then others. It sounds like you have a good plan to get more done.Appreciate your response, and happy my lotting!

hi eaforeman...yes i have had many interruptions at times at home and at work. there were times at work i'd be working on an order and kept getting interrupted by womething that had to be taken care of right away. then i'd come back to the order and had to look it all over to figure out where i left off, only to be interrupted again and again. it took way too long to do one order. then there were other days that ran smoothly. what causes it you ask? life is unpredictable and uncontrollable. that's the best i can answer it.
