I was just being bored and thinking of random stuff and here's what I came up with: Is the letter "y" considered a consonant or a vowel on "the wheel of fortune"? Or can it count as both?

Hmmmmmmm.........I'm pretty sure that it's considered a consonant for the most part. I've never heard anybody give the letter Y as a vowel before. That's an interesting question. Why don't you do a search online and see what you come up with? Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

I guess that it is a consonant. I wonder what would happen if someone said that they wanted to buy a vowel and named y. Maybe they would still charge them for it. That'd be funny, but I doubt that would happen.

Pat Sajak would have a fit and Vanna White would get all flustered! LOL! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

It's always been a consonant as it should be. As an avid watcher of Wheel of Fortune (not the last few weeks though) and "shouter" of the obvious answers, I know this to be true.

Thanx. That's what I thought, but I was not sure. I guess it's obvious that I hardly ever watch the wheel. have a lovely day full of smiles. :)

Thanks for the BR, Sketch. I used to watch a lot of Wheel before but not this month. I don't think I've watch an episode except for that one girl who won the million dollars. Lucky girl! Well, she was good too but everything worked for her that night!
