How does your spouse/boyfriend apologize?

One time, my spouse was so desperate to apologize, but I wouldn't let him off the hook. He tried everything. Finally, he gave me a ten dollar bill. Amazingly it worked! Not that my apology can be bought. But it was an act of desperation. So I took it! How does your spouse/boyfriend apologize? Flowers? Gifts? Poems?

He looks at me straight in the eye and keeps following me wherever i go. i swear he's like a puppy lol which can be annoying at times. when we;re in bed or in sofa...he grabs me and embrace me and talk to me telling me how sorry he was. i melt everytime he say sorry

LOL what a deal? But thats your hubby way of ending a cold war. My husband if he is on the guilty end he will do all the housework, sweeping, washing the dishes and even cooking. I become the queen and he becomes the houseboy. At the end of the day there will be no more sulky face and everything comes to normal.

I'd say you got the better deal! Maid service in our town costs upwards of $200!

My husband apologizes by understanding how he screwed up, and by explaining to me that he understands, and proving it in his explanation. I'm not interested in gifts to apologize, I just want to know that he understands. I will only accept and give gifts when we are on good grounds with eachother.

He acts like a big baby and gets me to laugh. I hate it when he does that but it works all the time. LOL! I'm not the type who get mad at him for a long time. He also "bribes" me with a small "shopping spree" or a dinner to any restaurant I want. those little stuff that I just end up laughing and forgiving him. It does not work that way when he's the one who's mad though. He doesn't easily forgive. Different strokes for different folks. LOL!

I told him the same thing. He wanted to know why I wouldn't just forgive and I told him that he doesn't forgive me so easily and holds a grudge for days. He shut his mouth and came back with a ten dollar bill. Money talks! It was a nice gesture. Money is always tight in our house, so the fact he would offer was pretty sweet.
