Which do you prefer? Home School? or Public School?

I attended a public school myself but I sent my daughter to a private christian school and she hated it. I hear a lot about homeschooling and the kids seem to be really smart. I know that homeschooling would not be for every kid but my daughter says that she would never consider it for her daughter. Would you consider home school for your child?

I believe homeschooling is a case to case basis. If your child is having problems with attending normal schooling then you can consider homeschooling but I just wish it will not be for long. I for one would not consider homeschooling unless there are very good reasons. I don't wanna deprive my son the environment of a real school where there are children he could interact with and in the process will help him develop his ability to interact and be with people. I don't want him to shun people and be a loner. Getting along with other children will bring out the best in a child so as much as possible try to find a normal school that your child will like.

That is the way my daughter feels about it. She says that she wants to leave it up to her daughter. She doesn't want to make the decision for her and her be unhappy. I went to public school and I turned out fine. I sent my daughter to a private christian school and she was not happy. She was miserable but did not let me know and when she did I wanted her to go to public school. She didn't decide to try public school till the 11th grade and quit school about 1 semester. She now has her GED. Thank you for your response
