Well, here I go again! Since I have lived here I have been robbed. Kids from the neighborhood came into my house and stole some playstation games and dvds from us. Then, a month later my sons new bike got stolen. And to top off everything, my landlord is far from what I expected. He doesnt want to repair anything that breaks!I cannot stand all the commotion with moving. The packing and clutterness. Not to mention the hauling of boxes which my husband is not to fond of.
Over the past three years, I will have moved four times!!2 houses went up for sale when I was unaware these were the landlords intentions! One other had very horrible neighbors. And then this one!
I think I will be way more cautious with this one! I cant stand the instability of moving the children around like this.
All I want is a nice home in a safe neighborhood.
How many times have you moved? As much as this? What do you look for in a new house?
Any suggestions?Thanks for reading!

That is awful! When looking for a new place I check out the neighborhood. When I lived in a large city I checked with the city police on crime in the area (my uncle was a state patrolman and always suggested we do this). That doesn't always help. You may have to invest in some sort of security system you can install and run yourself wherever you move next. I have moved many times, and hate the moving part but love the living in a new place part. It is just part of my personality that I don't like to stay in one place too long. But I would hate having to move they way you have. Good luck to you!

Thats good that you are content with where you are at. It sounds like that security is really working. Thiose things like loud music and people standing around(usually up to no good), are a problem that I am familiar with at an old house of mine.
Yes you have to be cautious nowadays to where you move too. I will be doing extensive investigating this time to be sure I get into the best possible home.
Thank you for your response Annjilena!
