Are you spending money wisely? A wise spender would like to visit a second hand shop and buy items at good bargain. Though not in all cases possible, could get most. With the price of everything soaring high, won’t we have to spend wisely? Could you share some nice tips?

If there is something that I like but is a bit too expensive for my liking, I go home and wait it out for at least a day or two. If I could live without it, then I could live without it. If not, then I come back for it and if it's still there, then it was meant for me, if not, then it wasn't. Save your receipts everyday or make a list of what you buy and how much they are in a notebook. This way, you'll know how much you spend a day and where you spend it. Then you can categorize those under needs and wants and if you're spending a lot of money on your wants, in this economy and if you are on a budget, then it's time to rethink your shopping methods.

Thanks for the BR! Hope we all remember to spend money wisely but also not forget to reward ourselves once in a while.

Ahh yes I do. If I don't really need a brand new thing or see a second-hand one in good working condition then I'd go for the second option. Money should be spent wisely because it's not something that can be easily earned. My advice is to stick with one's needs and not spend to much on luxury items that we can usually live without.

Yes, I think I do. I love my dollar or discount stores. I used to be a little embarassed to shop there. But, I always go when I have lot of money like I used to, or a little money like I do now. They always have something in there that I need or can use. And a lot of it is the same stuff you would find in another store, but it would be a lot more. The one thing I think I spend too much money on is groceries. I need to start looking for deals or coupons to save a few extra dollars on, because we are spending way too much at this point in time. When I go back to work again, I could care less about the coupons, and I'll spend as much on groceries as I please, and honestly not think twice about it.

seems that i'm not a wise spender at all, most of the time i spend money without thinking much and then found that it's quite a waste of time when it's too late. yet sometimes i like to buy some clothes or food on sale, it's worthy

with the price rising , we indeed need to take wisely spending into consideration.so i buy something by comparing with other store and its quality is the first thing to think in mind , then the price.i think it is the time for us to do it yourself !it may save much money and resource.
