I might be moving to the San Francisco Bay Area and joining Americorps!

Hello fellow mylotters, I wanted to share some exciting news. I am a recent college graduate here in Jacksonville, Florida, and like most places, the job market here sucks. It has always been my dream to move to San Francisco, so I started looking at jobs in the Bay area. I applied for a job with Americorps working with the environment and youth in Marin county which is the county north of San Francisco where I planned on moving anyway. The director called me for an interview yesterday, and said he would let me know by mid day Monday their decision. It looks I will be accepted, though. Have any of you had experience in Americorps or living in the Bay area? Some advice on either would be great.
