How much would you spend on a funeral for your pet?

I'm sure you've seen ads for pet cemetaries and such. But regular funeral homes are now selling pet funerals, complete with service and casket and burial! I've heard of some people that spend a few thousand on burying their beloved pet and can't help but feel sorry for them. Also, the money would be better spent than burying a dead body of a person or a pet--they're done with it and they're no longer in the body, they're in a better place. Would you spend money on a funeral for your pet? I always just dug a grave and wrapped them up and said prayers. I know they're waiting for me on the other side and that's enough, I don't need a big funeral.
