Should Laptop be make compulsory for each college going student.

I am putting a discussion in front of you that Laptop should be make compulsory for each college going student or not.Personally I think that every college student should have a laptop with him as it will help him a lot.Technology is getting so much advanced that college study should also be made completely based on computers.Teachers should teach students on coputers and students should make their notes on their laptops.If internet facility can be provided by the colleges then it is very best as the students can then take their study materials nad various other knoledge from net.So I am completely in favour of making laptop compulsory for college students.What is your opinion about it,tell me......

I don't think it should be compulsory. You can still manage to breeze through college without even owning your own laptop. Of course, things could be a lot easier if you had your own laptop. The problem with having laptops is that students can easily cheat. And you need to consider the costs as well.

i mean they aer begin used everyday
and the fact tht each university has soo many computer labs is a srue sign tht they need to provide them at cheaper prices.. like with some loans

If the price of Laptops was subsidised or were able to be loaned to the students then this is an excellent idea.
All homework tasks etc. could be emailed to the relevant students and when they have completed their work this can then me emailed back.
All coursework submitted could be stored centrally on the college grounds so that there wouldn't be a problem regarding the loss of coursework.
Lets face it, most children use the Internet for research etc. anyway, but instead of having to print the material out and then copy it into their books, this could be just posted into relevant sections.

I personally agree with you nakulsharma. It is important for the college students nowadays to have a laptop. In my country,almost every students have their own laptop because they have to use it to make notes and to keep their assignments.Most of the students bought their laptop with their scholarships money and even some of the private colleges offer a laptop for a student who registered with them.

I do agree that laptops should be made compulsory , and also some means of support should be given to students to buy laptops , this is true
in poor countries where a laptop can be too expensive. With a laptop and internet in college much information can
be gathered and used by students , since the greatest encyclopedia in there in the internet,

Definitely not. Not everyone can afford a laptop especially if there are many of them going to college. But of some students do have a laptop, they should be allowed to use it for taking down notes. Some school don't allow this because some students would just actually play in they laptop or surf the net.
But again, it should never be required for a student to have his/her own laptop. It is not practical.

laptop should be make compulsory for each college going student yes but that is not feasible because each and every student can not afford a laptop
