How much is it worth?

My husband bought a 1970 camaro body almost a year ago for $1800. The car doesn't have a motor or transmission. The drive shaft and cross members are still there. We have a clear title for the car. Since buying it, he has found spare doors, spare seat, glass for the side and rear windows, and a few more things. He has sanded it down and put primer on it. We want to sell the car, but I don't know how much to sell it for. I tried to sell it on craigslist for $3800 but recently dropped it down to $3000 and still haven't had anyone follow through. Am I asking too much??

Try looking into movie/film companies that use classic cars; when I lived in CA my roommate owned a huge house that had a equally huge garage wherein he fixed up, stored and rented classic cars to be used in movies, if you look into that in your area you should be able to get a much higher price on the car. It sounds like your husband put a lot of work into restoring the car and a film company would definitely appreciate the quality.
