I thought it would never happen to me anymore when I immigrated to a new country. But like before when I was window shopping in the Philippines, A mother and a daughter thought I was working as a sales clerk in an outlet of Foot Locker (A Shoe Store). I politely said "sorry I don't work here". I went out of the store laughing/smiling. I was imagining my wifes face when I tell her the story. Does anyone have the same experience?

This used to happen to me quite frequently. It seemed like within one year, I was approached a half a dozen times at least with people think I worked at different retail stores in which I was shopping. I never could figure it out. Why they thought I looked like I was working there, when in all reality I was shopping, I have no clue. Maybe we take shopping so seriously that it looks like we're working. LOL Thanks for starting this interesting discussion and have a great day!
