Does your Post Office Deliver?

Last spring I sent a package Priority Mail to my son at college, it took them 23 days to deliver it to the college. Even worse for us, our mailman only delivers the mail when he feels like it. I have gotten the phone bill, it's late notice, and disconnect letter all on the same day, electric bill that way too. Not just once or twice either. I complained, working my way up the chain, even calling Washington and the Post Master General's office. That only made things worse, we didn't get any mail for 3 months. It got better for a while, but I've noticed lately they are starting to slack off again. Does this ever happen to you? Have you ever paid for Priority Shipping and had it take weeks for the package to get there?

wow that is the craziest thing I've ever heard. What a nightmare. I have never lived anywhere that the mail wasn't dependable. I thought the mailmen had to take an oath to deliver the mail no matter what... sleet, hail, wind, and snow.... then mail MUST be delivered. I'm so sorry you have to go through that. The worst thing that ever happened to me is I lost my mail key. I had to watch for the postman and run out to catch him if I wanted to get my mail.

They don't even deliver if it's snowing anymore, to anyone in our area.

we have a good mail service here in Melbourne, local mail usually gets delivered the next day, country mail one day later, interstate another day, parcels get delivered by a delivery van, so i can't complain it is good..
