Swimming season is just about over for us. The pool water is now 70 degrees so there aren't many days of swimming left now. But I think I will still go swimming at least one more day before it's all over.
Just last week it was 78 degrees in the pool still.

It is here. Live in Manitoba, and already it is 47 degrees during the day. I am afraid the only people swimming from now until July will be the polar bears. We are going to have a long cold winter.

Oh yikes, that is cold! It is still over 80 during the day here, but the pool water temperature is 70.
I love the somewhat cold (barely) winters we get. I will exercise if it is 40 to 50 degrees out, and I will exercise a lot because I do not sweat. I hate running but in that weather I will run, bike ride, anything (except swim! tried that once and did not like it one bit!).

Cannot run that fast but i can sure walk. Do not like walking through the snow because it takes way to long. So i prefer it to be no snow in the ground. Thanks for the best response.

You're very welcome. Hopefully you can get in a lot of snow free walking.
I am currently debating if I should get into the pool, it's 95 degrees outside but the pool is only 70 now. If I do, this is probably the last day of swimming because it's supposed to cool down soon.

It has been over since Labor Day. It is sad, as there has been many days that was warm enough.

Yes, it is a public pool. No, I don't even know that site.

Wow, that is interesting that there is someone else with the name "Thoroughrob" I am always fascinated that two people can pick the same one. ;)
I might be swimming in a more public pool shortly if the gym has one once it finally opens. Our home pool isn't heated so today it was 69 degrees and swimming is now over. But if the gym puts in a pool that will be heated.

I had to close mine early because I live in a wooded area and the leaves are starting to fall. I went on vacation for a few days and swam in the indoor one there. Not the same but it will do in a pinch! LOL

Yeah, leaves and things falling are a drag to have to clean out of the pool. We have had a bunch of orange things falling from our palm trees that fall right to the bottom of the pool. But they start while it is still summer so we just have to keep cleaning them out. We don't leave the branches and leaves that fall in though, we'll get them out with a net or something in the winter.
