What is the best Firewall for Windows Xp?

Why do you need a extra firewall, when there was free support for firewall in windows. If you beleive in microsoft, then go to your settings and change the firewall settings to default and keep your XP usdated with all. Windows will take care of your firewall and it will notify you when you need attention.

I don't think so. All firewalls has only one duty, to accept or not accept the data over lan and to run that. May be other firewalls comes with better features but not better working. For me all the firewalls do the same work and are of accuracy that relates to their research.

I have used the "Windows XP", Its nice to use, Infact, its really a great one, but i have not tried the Firewall so far,..
I will try to download the same and tell you my experiece about the same, is this free download...
And also my XP have some problem, Now i am using only Win95 only, Since my XP i am, not able to open my windows explorer like Opera, Firefox and internet explorer.. So, i have instaled the Win95 and work in this..
Can i have any suggession to recover my XP again.. How Can i reinstal the XP again, can i able to download from the online ??
Please advise me..

Hi,
I don't think Windows Xp can be download online. If you have the Installation CD comes with your computer during the purchase, then you can use that CD to repair your Windows Xp.
If the repair is falied, then you need to format your computer. Please not that formatting your computer will erase all your data stored in your computer. So, you need to backup all your data before formatting your computer.

if you want an anti virus that is light and effective as well and free the AVG 8.0 will be the best for you and it has got all what you can expect from a premium anti virus and free too. i use it myself along with the genuine Norton Anti virus and you can download Avg anti virus from download.com for free.it won't cause your computer slow down and runs in background mode.
