I would give him the money as long as he doesn't hurt me and doesn't kill me.

Having never been in this situation, I think I would react in one of many ways. I might do what experts say and that is to act crazy - scream, babble, jump around, laugh crazily, shake my head, slobber - whatever I had to do to convince the criminal that I was a nut case. Or I may try to scream my head off! If I thought I could get away I would take off running & screaming the whole way. I also think I might try talking to the culprit - maybe I would try to get on his side, like asking, that since I don't have any money or any valuables, why don't we go to such & such's house or to a bar or something and rob them, that I could use a few bucks too - of course, I would be lying & just trying to buy some time. The only other thing I can think of that might help is fainting - just pass out right there and no matter what don't react - of course, this might not be a very good idea - the criminal could take worse advantage of me. Hopefully, I'll never have to deal with something as horrifying as this. (Gosh, what made you come up with such a bizarre question?! Quit watching horror movies late at night! LOL)

There are so many factors I would need to consider here clarkmy! If it was a gang of people or someone with a weapon; or even if my wife were with me then I would more than likely just hand over my money and then immediately call the Police once they had fled. I would also try to take in as much informatiopn about them as I could so there would be a better chance or catching them. If I was on my own and the person did not have a weapon; or if I was on my own and it was only a few people; then I would at first try to use mind games and words to diffuse the situation and if this failed then they are going to get a damn good hiding! If I ended up biting off more than I could chew so to speak then I would of course run like the wind to get myself out of there! I have actually had someone approach me with a knife once and then threaten me with it to try and get my money and they ended up flat on their back wondering what hit them. But this was many years ago when I was 18 or so and I would think very carefully before doing the same thing again these days. In most cases the best thing to do is hand over what they are asking for and then go straight for help. It's just not worth the potential outcome.

It entirely depends with the situation. If the robber is not heavilly armed and just using a knife. Then I might give him a Kung Fu kickboxing hard in the abdomen.

I would defend him, catch him and then, give him nice food, some clothes and some money. Also a job if possible. If these are given, then he will no more be a robber!

believe it or not, that thought has run through my mind a lot. since i'm alone most of the time with just my kids i think about it. the first thing i would probably do is protect the children and make sure they're safe. putting them in a room away from the people because you don't know what they would do to you. second would be to try contact someone, the police or a neighbor. if that involved hiding and calling or escaping and calling either way. my husband said, don't mind the things, as long as you have your life. things can be replaced but a life can't.

hi clarkmy well at the time I was young and more daring than I am now as an elderly woman. I was washing clothes in an all night laundromat when this young punk comes in, pulls out a knife and demands I give him my billfold. well it didnt have anything left in it after washing clothes and he made me really made. He wasnt any taller than I , and was about sixteen to my twenty threeso Ijust jumped hard on his feet, really aiming for his toes. I hurt him so much he dropped the knife and was hopping around screaming about an ingrown toenail. A police cruiser stopped, a n officer came in and asked me what had happened I was by this time picking up the switchblade he had dropped. I told the officer exactly what happened and he said, after laughing for awhile, my dear child you were just lucky, he could have really hurt you. Later on that month I was downtown close to the laundrymat and made a night deposit in the night slot of my bank, only I dropped the wrong envelope into the slot, one with hairpins in it, and still had my paycheck in my hand, so I shoved my hand in the slot hoping to catch the envelope with the bobby pins in it, as this same officer came by. He got out, looked at me then asked me what the heck i was doing, I said, look I know this looks wrong but I had two envelopes, one with my paycheck, and one with bobbypins in it, and I just dropped the wrong one in here. He looked at me and grinned, oh child I do believe you, just put the other envelope in there and dont worry about the bobby pins ,that will just give some teller her laugh for the day. then he insisted that he give me a ride to my apartment. on the way he told me I reminded him of his eldest daughter, he said she wasnt afraid of anyone shes just too naive yet but she will learn, she will learn. Now I am elderly and i did learn, today the robber would just get whatever I had as I know now just how dangerous a criminal can be. I am crippled so I could not outrun him but I might scream.

In a word ,we should protect our body first. If you are a woman especially, you have no ways to fight with robber, you should give your wealth to him and protect yourself first.

I would say 5. Because if he entered my house with my 11 month old son in danger he would get shot in the face. Shoot first ask questions later especially if i felt my family was in danger.

I think I can only stand without doing anything because the knife from the robber is ready in his hand and pointed to my body. Accepted all his want because I still want my life. Losing money is more acceptable than losing our life. keep post happy myLotting....
