Have you ever done clutter clearing?

Every few months I like to do clutter clearing. That way I keep just the possessions that I need not a lot of things that I don't ever use. Did you know most people only wear 20% of their clothes on a regular basis? Do you have a place for everything and everything in its place? Have you ever done clutter clearing or are you thinking that you need to?

I try very hard to clear clutter, sadly most of it belongs to Mr Croc who hates parting with anything. I would love to completely de=clutter my house but it won't happen until he co-operates.

I clean my clutter every 2 months. I agree, we only use 20% of what we have. I keep only what I use and what I need. Everything else is gone. I have wind in my closet. I also organize my documents to avoid keeping too much. I know people who keep items for years. It would be hard for me to do.

I seem to be forever doing it my friend! Only today I took three big bag fulls up to the Air ambulance charity shop in our town they were ever so grateful, admittedly mum had stuff in the bags too, but it felt good getting rid of the clutter and hopefully they can make some money on the good stuff we contributed. I have a small bedroom and after moving six times carrying stuff with me that I was never going to use or wear I thought enough is enough! The amount of stuff I have got rid off! It makes more space and less stuff to carry if I should move again!

i do that once in a few months, i checked my stuffs and see a lot papers that i keep just for the heck of it.. bunch of nonesense that i though would be useful.. after keeping them for 3 months, i then let go.. throw it in the waste bin. i have clothes that i dont use too, but i dispose them after not being able to use for a a year or half a year. they say that if you dont use something for a year then most probably, you would no longer be using it anymore..

My friends and family call me Monica because I am always cleaning but, I do still have clutter! I regularly do a clean out about once every 3-4 months and everything I get rid of I sell at car boot sales to make some money. : )

I try, but I find it really hard to throw things away. I always need them as soon as they are gone. My other problem is that as soon as I clear a spot, it is immediately filled by junk from my hubby, who hoards everything. I'm about to clear a megaload of stuff though, because we have reached the age where we won't have any more kids, so I can get rid of ALL the baby stuff. I'm a bit worried that is going to be a sure way to get pregnant ... lol!
