I've heard this information before that pregnant women aren't supposed to drink sodas high in caffeine. I'm working on having a baby and I don't know whether I'm pregnant or not but I just can't keep myself from coke or coffee. Your help will be very valuable for me. Thanks a lot.

YOu should limit it. One coke a day is not going to hurt anything. I have read that it is VERY important to be careful in your first trimester. Too much caffiene can cause a miscarriage. If you can stay away then I would.

I never stopped drinking coke on all 4 of my pregnancies, I just changed to diet coke or caffeine free coke. You can get decaf coffee too that wont do you or your baby any harm. I had 4 beautiful, and very healthy babies.:-)

There are lots of differing opinions about this. My doctor told me to limit caffeine to no more than 2 servings per day. That includes all sources, the main ones being coffee, soda and chocolate. But there may be other sources in your diet, so be careful. I switched to half caff coffee and limited myself to about one soda a week. However, before you do anything, you really should ask your doctor. When in doubt, less caffeine is better.

You are suppose to limit your intake of caffeine while you are pregnant. A little bit of caffeine won't hurt anything. I drank diet coke the entire 9 months I was pregnant with my daughter and she is just fine. She is a happy healthy 5 year old now.

I never had a baby, but i also never heard that caffeine was bad, Maybe if you had 5 or 6 cups of coffee or sodas. A couple here or there won't hurt you. By the way" I love your avatar" it's so cute.
