Why did you start blogging?

I am always surprised when anyone praises what I've written on my blog, because I usually feel I am writing it for myself. My first blog was always intended as a personal record of how I make money for writing and other activities on the internet. I was not sure if it would interest others, but I have some feedback saying from people saying they are learning from what they read about my experiences. I think that is a good reason to continue with the blog. My second blog is about my positive way of thinking about life. I hope it may inspire some people who read it. It is getting traffic and I am making money from it, so I must be doing something right!
