out of 147,250 +++ and growing MYLOT POPULATION what percentage is still active?

This is like the current member count of mylot population and still growing fast everyday...what do you think is the percentage of very active members like us?active members i mean that visits mylot everyday, respond to lots of topics and post topics and rate everyone...do you know why i am curious?well i have been starting many discussions in the past months and i have like 300++ on my friends list..i know that so few of them answer to my discussions and the most responses that i got was like 127...if only i can add up more friends..like 1000 more friends(is that possible) then i will gain many responses..hehe..this is just a thought.
can you guess how many is still active here?those one time member with zero number under their name is not counted.

I suspect the figure is just fabricated. I am a diehard member here and I should say I am here everyday if I am not travelling but to say they have that kind of membership is absurd and might only be construed as 'ghost' members who sign up but never participated. We are enlighten to see such a good community here but our discussions is far cry from getting a good response. So do you believe that these members really exist? I am doubtful! Maybe the most that are really truthful to mylot are less then a quarter of that figure. I see almost the same people in the discussions everyday.

fabricated?its an interesting point...but i guess most them are just sign=up members and not active...i also see the same people here and now making discussions...but i can see many new members and get 2 or 3 friend request in a day or two.

Based from alexa.com, mylot have an average of 4800 plus visitors(both pageviews and users) daily for 3 months. Average, there are just 0.017% of its users who visit mylot. So, now we know why there are are just a few responses we receive to our posts.

that is still a small amount compared to the current number of members that we can see below..so most of the accounts here are dormant and inactive.

Well I have absolutely no idea and couldn't even try to guess but what I was thinking was that if say a mylot member didn't sign in for about 6 months then why don't myLot delete their account which would then maybe delete your friend automatically then that would save you having to go through your many friends and deleting which ones are not active yourself!!

you know what?that is a very good idea..i have like 300++ friends here in my list but the only active friends i have is just less than 10...it would have saved us the trouble of deleting those inactive friends.

Well for me I guess it's only Mylot who can truly reveal how much it is really hard because the post that we see is not the whole post that this site receives. There are many post in here that goes unnoticed by us if it is not linked to our interest and our friends so what we are seeing in our homepage is just a fraction of what our interests and friends' posted traffic but beyond that there is a far more varied topics that are posted I could imagine.

so it is really advisable to search and explore..but sometimes it is just chose those topics that are of my friends...i guess i have to add more friends.

I don't think even 50 percent is active... since a lot of newbies do not even comeback or log on for a second time... and if we will look at our friends list... some of them hasn't been active for quite a while...
You are lucky that you have a discussion with 127 responses... i haven't even crossed the 100 line yet...but i am hoping i will be able to do that in the near future...

I don't know about that. But your friends will see your discussions on their homepages first. However, due to the many new discussions made everyday, your friends' friends' new discussions can bury your own discussions down the line. Thus, your friends can only see the newest discussions at first glance.

yes you are certainly right about that..only the recent ones are seen and if only you can dig more deeper then you can see lots of some interesting topics here.

to be honest with you, i'm not really sure actually... i think 20% will be the max... many people had gone from this place since the first time i was here due to different reasons... some of them got abused... some of them got bored... others just want to try out this site and decided that they are not interested... so i reckon 20% will be a good number for active members here... or even less... take care and have a nice day...

oh I was thinking of the same, and I am about to check the population, thanks for you I don't have to. I was planning on adding up more friends here, they say that if you have a lot of friend there are more chances that your topics will be responded more. I am aiming to have at least 1000 friends here or more. I hope we both can have more, but my connection is uto uto, globelines is the worst provider!

well no doubt you are very active here and non-stop..you go girl!
yeah sometimes mylot can be so slow sometimes that i get upset because of the slowness.
