Do your children drop a bombshell at the last minute?

It often happens that when you are relaxing at home afte a tiring day in office, your child suddenly comes up and says that he requires some chart paper and some stickers and tape etc for a project which he has to submit tomorrow. whole dayhe has not bothered to tell you and now when the shops are about to close, he wants you to rush and get him the things and then sit with yhim and help him in completing the project. He must have known about the project for the entir week, but he has to wake up at the last minute. If you tel him to forget it and tell the teache that he wilol take one extra day, he will start crying and fretting and fuming. Have you ever faced such a situation? How have you reacted?
