Curlers in Your Hair - Thing of the Past?

I did in the 60's, but not anymore.

Yes, Big Hair is back! http://www.despardes.com/Fashion/news/jan05/briefly-0110.html So Curlers in Your Hair isn't a Thing of the Past any more! I have never worn curlers in public but i used to wear them in bed so i had big bouncy hair in the morning!

I went down and bought some a couple of months ago. I use them here at home if I have a few hours before I am going somewhere and I want the curl to hold up for awhile. Now have I or would I go out in public in them nonono. Normally I would use hot rollers or my curling iron but I have thick hair and well when I use those two things it doesn't hold as well. So if I want a full and bouncey curl that will last it's into the culers.

When I was little, I remember my mom doing it all the time. But I haven't seen anyone out in public with them lately. But then again, most of the time I am in my own little world and I don't pay much attention to other people. I will ask my boyfriends father as I think people watching is a hobby of his.lol. He will sometimes just sit in the parking lot and watch people. Hes a strange old man but he learns a lot about people this way.lol.

Yes I remember the curlers I used to wear them years ago, but not no more. I do see some of the older women still wearing them.Who knows curlers might just be coming back. lol

I figured that was a thing of the past also. I have not seen anyone doing this in years. I guess there are still some old timers out there.

I have never done this as this always makes me think of my grandmother and something older people do . If I want my hair curled I find it better and much easier to go in and get a perm , this way it will last for awhile .
