Do you ever encounter people who promises you but don't have the word of honor to fulfill such promises? What can you say about these people? What is your opinion?

True enough! You can no longer trust a person if what they do is just breaking promises. Thanks Shar!

Unfortunately this type of person has been raised to make promises, but not taught to keep them. They find that making promises is a way to manipulate people and they do it very well. Personally, I don't want promises. I want to just watch you live your life, hear what you say, and observe if how you live reflects what you say. Then I'll believe you without the words "I promise". Anytime I hear those words alarm bells go off inside my head and I think "this person's not trustworthy".

Indeed, if the person is like that, he's really not worth trusting anymore. Like you, I don't like promises. It is always good to do what needs to be done than making promises that can't be fulfilled. Thanks for replying thebeaddoodler!
