I'm not married, but my brother recently was...and I'm pretty sure he would have spent close to $30,000 if not more!
It was a good day though :)

well hopefully you only do it once! His wife is Vietnamese so they had to have 2 ceremonies

My wedding cost a whole $200. Yep, that's it. My grandfather paid for my dress and all the alterations, my mom's best friend did all the floral arrangements as her gift to us, and my mother-in-law paid for all the candles and other little odds and ends. The only thing we paid for is my husband's and the best man's tuxedos, and my maid of honors dress.
